Quick and Easy Spinach Quiche Recipe

 Spinach quiche ingredients

  • 1 large unbaked pie crust (around 9 inches)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon of all purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon of black pepper (ground)
  • 10 ounces or around 1 packet of frozen spinach (Chopped)
  • 4 ½ ounces of thinly sliced mushrooms
  • ¼ cup of well chopped onions (green)
  • 4 ounces of cheddar cheese for extra flavor (Shredded)

 Spinach quiche cooking instructions

To cook this vegetarian quiche, you first have to start with preheating the oven to around 425 degrees Fahrenheit. After this, you should start pricking the piecrust with a fork. Once this is done, start baking the crust for at least 5 minutes. At the same time, start heating the spinach in the microwave and get rid of as much water as you can. Use paper towels if necessary. When you are done drying the spinach, then the next step is to beat the eggs, yogurt, pepper and flour until they are considerably well mixed. Take out the piecrust, and start layering your scallions (chopped green onions) and the sliced mushrooms at the bottom of the piecrust. Once this is done, top your onions and mushrooms with the spinach mixture and bake in your preheated oven. And voila! You have a spinach vegetarian quiche all ready for 8 people.
